We are the Hamburg Chapter of YPO - Young Presidents' Organization, a global leadership community of chief executives. Our members lead significant organizations and value curiosity, confidentiality, and contribution. We welcome prospective members primarily from the greater Hamburg metropolitan area — and from elsewhere when there is a meaningful Hamburg connection.

Membership Criteria

We’re open about the hard facts and clear about the soft expectations. Meeting both helps ensure the right peer fit and a meaningful experience for all members.

Hard Facts

  • Age: under 45 at time of admission
  • Company revenue: ≥ USD 15 million annually
  • Employees: ≥ 50 full-time (or annual payroll ≥ USD 2.5M)
  • Active Role: President / Chairman of the Board / CEO / Managing Director / Managing Partner / Founder

If you meet the thresholds, we encourage you to inquire. We’ll discuss details during the intake conversation. If you don't meet all the requirements, there may be waivers that can apply — get in touch with us!

Soft Expectations

  • Peer fit: constructive, curious, and committed to learning
  • Contribution: shows up for others; confidentiality is non‑negotiable
  • Engagement: active participation in Hamburg events and Forum
  • Values: integrity, respect, and diversity of thought

Even when hard facts are met, we may decline if peer fit isn’t present. That’s how we protect the experience for all members.
